
Broiled Parmesan and Garlic Asparagus
This is one of those simple healthy recipes that take almost no prep work. I think the hardest part was mincing the garlic, whew! I thought I’d be fancy and cut the ends off the asparagus this time around, but I prefer just breaking them at the right spot and going for that rustic look.
Butter is optional on these and it will enhance the flavor, but if you are going for healthy the below recipe should do it!

Parmesan and Garlic Asparagus
1 pound of fresh asparagus
2 tbsp of olive oil
3 cloves of minced garlic
2 tsp of lemon juice
Fresh Parmesan or Romano cheese
Sea Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions
1. Cut or break the wooden ends off of the asparagus. Place in the baking dish to create one layer.
2. Mix the olive oil and lemon juice together and pour over the asparagus coating completely.
3. Sprinkle on garlic, cheese, salt, and pepper.
4. Roast in the oven at 400 degrees or until done which is around 15 minutes.
